•Semi-structured and In-depth Interviews
Qualitative research methods are intended to collect in-depth information. They allow researchers to receive information about peoples’ motives, thoughts and behavior — that is, to receive an answer to the question: «Why?». The use of qualitative research methods allows for the creation of a more realistic picture of the world which cannot be transferred through figures and statistical analysis alone. It also provides a certain flexibility in the gathering of data and its subsequent analysis, as well as the possibility of studying groups of respondents who in more formal and structured settings do not yield to in-depth research.
